Celebrating 60 Years of Song

Vesnivka Choir, under the artistic direction of Halyna Kvitka Kondracki, invites you to come celebrate our 60th year of singing. We have dedicated ourselves to preserving, developing, and promoting Ukrainian classical, contemporary, folk and sacred music to Canadian audiences.

From its humble origins in 1965 as a heritage school choir for girls, Vesnivka has evolved into a dynamic women’s community choir. It has become an integral part of the Ukrainian Canadian community and the broader Canadian choral landscape. As Vesnivka celebrates its 60th anniversary, its tradition of choral excellence lives on and continues to grow.

Vesnivka Choir, together with the Canadian Bandurist Capella, will present a special concert marking the 40th anniversary of the Chornobyl Nuclear Disaster. Joining us will be the Canadian Children's Opera Company in a powerful commemoration of remembrance and reflection.
